Pass the butter please…..

This is interesting . .

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back. It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings. Molten Mocha Cake

molten mocha cakeIngredients:

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 (15.8 ounce) box Pillsbury(R) Fudge Supreme Double Chocolate Premium Brownie Mix
  • 2 tablespoons coffee-flavored liqueur or strong brewed coffee
  • 12 fresh strawberries
  • 12 fresh mint sprigs
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream

Sweetie Peach (Patikim 2008)

(Peach in Graham with Mango Puree Sauce)

Ingredients:
Peaches
Non-Dairy creamer
Graham crackers
Sugar
Crushed Graham crackers
Salt
Green or yellow mangoes
Nuts
Honey
Strawberry or Cherry (optional toppings)

Procedure:
1. Purify mangoes, honey, non-dairy creamer, sugar and salt then let it cool in refrigerator.
2. Divide peaches into desired size.
3. Roll each peach into crushed graham. Put it on each of graham cracker.
4. Pour on mango puree on top.
5. Top it with crushed nut and choice of red fruit to garnish — such as cherry or strawberry.
6. Serve on plate or wax paper.

Arroz Valenciana - Vegan (Patikim 2008)

Ingredients:

  • Sticky Rick (Malagkit)
  • Celery
  • Coconut Milk
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Garlic
  • Mushroom
  • Oil
  • Carrots

Procedure:

1. Cook sticky rice with coconut milk and a pinch of salt to taste.
2. While waiting to cook, cut the mushroom, carrots, celery, onion and garlic into small pieces.
3. Fry the half part of garlic until golden brown then set aside.
4. Saute’ garlic, onion, then add the cooked sticky rice.
5. After 5 minutes, add and mix all ingredients then serve.
